Pajamas (Trousers)

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) is reported to have purchased a Pajama and evidently it was purchased for wearing. His companions (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala Anhu) used to wear pajamas with his permission. [Zadul Ma’ad]

It is an authentic tradition from Hadrat Aishah (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala An ha) that once she took out an old blanket and a coarse cotton sheet and said: These are the two garments that were on the body of the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) at the time of his death. [Zadul Ma’ad]
