The Infant (Aazan and iqamah in the ears of the infants)

After birth when an infant has been properly washed, azan should be recited in the right ear and iqamah in the left ear. When Hadrat Hussain (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) was born, the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) recited azan and iqamah in his ears. [Zadul Ma’ad, Tabarani]
