Talaq (divorce) and khula (seperation sought by a woman)

Hadrat Sauban (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that ALLAHs Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, “If any women asks her husband for divorce without some strong reason the odour of paradise will be forbidden to her.”

Hadrat Ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) as saying, “The lawful thing which ALLAH hates most is divorce. [Abu Daud]

Hadrat Mu’az bin Jabal (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anha) narrated that ALLAH’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said to him, “Muaz, ALLAH has created nothing on the face of the earth dearer to Him than emancipation, and ALLAH has created nothing on the face of the earth more hateful to Him than divorce”.
