Generosity and Miserliness

Hadrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated ALLAH’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) as stating that ALLAH most high had said, “If you spend (on others) son of Adam, I shall spend on you.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

Hadrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that the Messenger of ALLAH (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, “Greed, niggardliness and faith will never be combined in the heart of a servant of ALLAH.” (i.e. niggardliness and faith do not go together) [Sunan Nasai]
