Hadrat Jabir (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that the Messenger of ALLAH (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “When a man tells something (which is confidential) and then departs it is a trust.” (i.e. he should guard it as he would guard a trust) [Tirmizi, Abu Dawud, Mishkat]
Hadrat Anas (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that ALLAH’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) seldom addressed us without saying, “He who is not trustworthy has no faith, and he who does not keep his covenant has no religion. [Baihaqi]
