Use of vessels of silver and gold

Hadrat Huzaifah (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) told that Allah’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) forbade them to eat or drink from a vessel of silver or gold, or wear silk and brocade, because these things are for the non-believers is this world and for the believers in the Hereafter. Hadrat Aishah (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anha) narrated that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, “The one who will have the worst positions in Allah’s estimation on the day of resurrection will be the one whom people left alone on account of his filthy language and ribaldry.” [Bukhari, Musim]
