Visiting friends

Hadrat Abu Razin (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that ALLAH’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said to him, “Shall I not guide you to the means of supporting these affairs by which you will obtain the best in this world and the next?

(1) You must frequent the gatherings of those who make mention of ALLAH.

(2) When you are alone cause your tongue to make mention of ALLAH as much as you can,

(3) Love for ALLAH’s sake. Are you aware, Abu Razin, that when a man goes out of his house to visit his brother he is accompanied by seventy thousand angles, all of them invoking blessings on him and saying, “O our Lord, he has united ties of friendship for Thy sake, so bring him near to Thy self? If you can employ yourself in that way do so.” [Mishkat]
