TAKING FOOD IN A COMPANY

Hadrat Wahshi bin Harb (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anha) on his father’s authority, narrated his grandfather told of ALLAH’s Messenger’s companions saying, Messenger of ALLAH (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) “ We eat but are not satisfied.” He suggested that perhaps they ate separately, and when they replied that was so, he said, “If you gather together at your food and mention ALLAH’s name you will be blessed in it.” [Abu Dawud]
