THE RIGHTS OF AN ORPHAN

Hadrat Sahi bin Sa’d (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that ALLAAH’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, “I and the one who takes responsibility for an orphan, whether of his own kind or of others, will be in paradise thus,” and he pointed to his forefinger and middle finger with a slight space between them!

Hadrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that ALLAAH’s Messenger (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, “The best house among the Muslims’ is one which contains an orphan who is well treated, and worst house among the Muslims is one which contains an orphan who is badly treated.” [lbn Majah]

Those who utilize the property of an orphan will be raised from their graves in such a manner that flames of fire will be coming out of their mouths. [Abu Yala]
