It appears in a tradition that the one who offers bribe and the one who accepts it, both will thrown into hell fire. [Tabarani]
Note: An exception can be made where one cannot save himself from the oppression of a tyrant except of giving bribe. In such cases too, giving bribe is considered permissible (with mental reservation but accepting it is not permissible even in such a case). [Hayat -UI- Muslimeen]
