TAKBEER IN THE KHUTBAH

The Khutbah after Eidain Salaah should begin with takbeer and in the first part the takbeer should be said nine times and in the second part seven times.

While going for Salaah on the day of breaking the fast (Eid-ul-Fitr) the takbeer should be said on a low voice (almost silently) and on the day of sacrifice (Eid-ul-Adha) it should be said loudly. [Bahishti Gauhar]
