Hadrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that the Prophet said: If any one leaves even one day’s fast without the leave provided by the Shari’ah for travelling and sickness etc., and fasts even for the rest of his life time, he cannot make good what has been lost.
