ETIQUETTE FOR MOSQUES BUILDING A MOSQUE       

Hadrat Usman (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated ALLAAH’s messenger as saying: If anyone builds a mosque for ALLAAH, ALLAAH will build a house for him in paradise. [Bukhari and Muslim]

Note: This tradition lays emphasis on the genuineness of Niyyah (intention) and indicates the reward if one gets an existing mosque repaired instead of constructing a new one as Hadrat Usman had narrated this tradition after carrying out repairs to the Prophet’s mosque. [Hayat -ul- Muslimin]
