Ways of The Prophet (S.A.W)

In the event of a general calamity, e.g. famine, epidemic, attack by an enemy, the following should be recited in the second rakah of Fajr Salaah after the ruku? If the Imam (leader) recites it, the followers should say Aameen shortly after every phrase.

(O ALLAAH! Show me the path of those whom Thou hast guided and give me the solace and help me as Thou helps those whom Thou helpest, and bless me in what Thou has given unto me, and protect from that which Thou has pre-ordained, for decree lies with Thee alone and surely on whom you hold in friendship cannot be disgraced and thy opponent cannot be honoured. Thou art the Blessed, the Exalted. We ask Thy pardon and turn to Thee in repentance. And may ALLAAH bless the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa SaIlam) [Husn -e- Hasin]
