Hadrat Abu Zar Ghifari (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that the Messenger of ALLAH (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked him, “How will you act when you are under rulers who make Salaah a dead thing, or delay it beyond its proper time. I asked what he commanded me to do so he replied, “Observe the Salaah at its proper time and if you can perform it along with them do so, for it will be a supererogatory Salaah for you.
